| 10 Jul 2004 | Matt Jesus_Saves0687@yah | Loading...This one is the heezy pageezy. I like the shading technique, it looks like a comic book...I think you were going for that...if you weren't that's two drawings that came out wrong but good...if that makes sense...I use...too many...elipses... Jeremy N. Marcum replies: "Yea I was going for the cel style shading. Cody actually came just how I wanted him to actually. I was happy with the result... but somehow this picture got blown up when I shrunk it down 0.o;; and it doesn't look as good as it does when it's smaller..." | |
| 11 Jul 2004 | Jessica 'Jeste' Schreib | Loading...oh... good going on the foreshorting! however, the hair didn't quite work, did it? Well for a anime it would, and i'm not sure what style this picture is supposed to be... it seems in between comic/ anime and realism... anyways i think it worked pretty good. nice going - will you colour it ever? Take care Jeste. Jeremy N. Marcum replies: "Well thanks for commenting, and actually it is supposed to be anime/manga. I'm very glad you think the foreshortening came out well. About the coloring, it is colored... well as colored as it's going to get. Originally this was pencil drawn and I've done a lot of coloring to it... just I've colored all in grey I was going for the cel art look." | |
| 17 Jul 2004 | Brian L. Husted | Loading...I love the two tone shading that you used, its looks great for this black and white drawing. The foreshortening is wonderful. Jeremy N. Marcum replies: "Well, I'm glad that you think it came out well. I really like how like how it looks but I was worried I didn't quite get the foreshortening right." | |

| 21 Aug 2004 | Fiona C. Liu | Loading...I love this concept. Your line art is great! The two tone shading is also very effective, way better than my attempts at it, and I hope you will be using this technique more in the future. Please update more often -- I want to see more! Jeremy N. Marcum replies: "This was very flattering, thank you. Actually as of late I've been updating as often as I can, the ticket block slows me down a little. Thanks very much for the kind words." | |
