The food wasn't much but I did feel better afterwards. I was testing out my left arm when Tori came in and sat down where Surge had been about ten minutes before.

''So how is your arm?'' she asked me.

''I don't know,'' I said truthfully. ''It's . . . not moving right.'' I would try to make a fist and my wrist would bend instead, or I'd bend my elbow and my forearm would move to the side instead of just upward; things like that. ''This is really wigging me out, Tor. I feel like I'm in the middle of a bad sci-fi novel.''

Sketch of Eddie trying to get used to the implants in his arm. This picture was giving me a lot of trouble and I almost gave up on it, but a friend told me I should keep working on it. I'm glad I did :). Still very much a work in progress, though, and I'm aware it still has some problems.
