	This was a lifedrawing assignment; we were supposed to do a self portrait, and she said we could (in fact she encouraged us to) use costumes. So this is one of mine. the dragon is a shoulderdragon I got at a Ren Faire, the dagger is my Athame, and spellbook... well, I was actually holding my sketchbook.

Hey sketch books are spell books: 1st of all with them we use them to create and store art and art is perhaps one of the most magical things. 2nd sketch books work better than love potions some times, its amazing how quick people will come running because they see you sketching.Hey, that's true...
21 Jun 2001	Victoria Kuzma	Loading... Marvellous idea! I like the job you did, except the dragon isn't too visible. There is too much dark and not enough light areas, but it could just be the settings on my monitor o_O I shall have to crank out my own self-portrait when I have time; I get too picky when drawing myself so it takes 50 million times longer than usual.Naw, I don't think it's your monitor. That's the main drawback with charcoal - once you put it there, it's pretty much there for life. Otherwise I would have put in more light areas (especially on the dragon)
