To prevent having to update my age every year I'll just say I was born in late 1978. My older brother introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons when I was quite young (7, maybe) and it all started from there. I love to write and to roleplay, and most of my art stems from that. So enjoy! I'm always looking for comments and (constructive) criticism.
Note: My old scanner started putting horizontal lines on everything, so some of the pieces are going to have lines >_<. It wasn't me. Then my scanner started making everything washed out. But I have a new one now, so it's all good ^_^

Hello Jenny, I'd like to invite you to join the Garden hub. It's an art community project, which basically consists of a glorified link page of sorts and serves to take up the slack when Elfwood goes down or is temporarily unusable due to administrative action. Most of us miss e-mail or homepage addresses of friends when they can't go to the Elfwood bio's. The Garden could be a good place to find them then! Please ask all your friends to join too! The site is new and we have a slowly growing editorial staff who will be overseeing administrative decisions, so it won't be a singular project but rather a coordinated effort. It would be great if you would submit your galleries to our flowery garden! See you in The Garden. The address is:

Hi there neighbour, just making the rounds in this gallery group. In my opinion, you're not getting enough comments...your work is stellar 2 I tried to criticize constructively where I could. Cheers!

Your artwork is beatiful! You catch the expressions and the essense of the moment so well in your pictures. I love how you experiment with so many different styles and make them all look good. Beautiful coloring in your pictures, too. Let me know when you update!

:-) Jenny Olivera replies: "Thanks! Updates may be awhile, though, because my painting class is taking up much of my drawing time."

Excellent artwork! Um--about the scanner--I don't know all that much about them, but I've been through two of them, and the horizontal lines in my case seemed to be when I scanned them into the wrong size...not the resolution...oh darn, now I can't even remember the term and I don't have it in front of me. But...the slider bar that gives the percentage of the final dimensions on most scanner software---ya know what I'm talking about? Keeping that value as small as possible (20%-50%) keeps the lines off for me. Dunno if that will help you out, hope so...
