Hello Jenny, I'd like to invite you to join the Garden hub. It's an art community project, which basically consists of a glorified link page of sorts and serves to take up the slack when Elfwood goes down or is temporarily unusable due to administrative action. Most of us miss e-mail or homepage addresses of friends when they can't go to the Elfwood bio's. The Garden could be a good place to find them then! Please ask all your friends to join too! Your artwork is beatiful! You catch the expressions and the essense of the moment so well in your pictures. I love how you experiment with so many different styles and make them all look good. Beautiful coloring in your pictures, too. Let me know when you update!

Excellent artwork! Um--about the scanner--I don't know all that much about them, but I've been through two of them, and the horizontal lines in my case seemed to be when I scanned them into the wrong size...not the resolution...oh darn, now I can't even remember the term and I don't have it in front of me. But...the slider bar that gives the percentage of the final dimensions on most scanner software---ya know what I'm talking about? Keeping that value as small as possible (20%-50%) keeps the lines off for me. Dunno if that will help you out, hope so...
