| 6 Dec 2007 | Sdixon | The detail in your pictures is amazing. Are you going to an art school? You really should. This art is totally worth developing!!! Jessica P. Brooks replies: "I'm not currently in an art school but I'd love to one day. Thanks!" | |

| 22 Dec 2007 | Clemens ´Drazhar´ Scharwatt | Wow, the details in your pictures are great! I love the "Leaf Petal Fairy", thats an awesome piece, especially because its totally hand-drawn and not mirrored with the PC. I guess I'll never have enough patience to draw stuff like that. Keep up the good work! Ah, and thanks for tagging my lil' fairy as favorite Jessica P. Brooks replies: "Thank you! You know, if I tried to draw with the PC I'd mess everything up. Oh hey and you're welcome! I'm awaiting the thistle fairy's debut (if you decide to do one that is...no pressure) " | |

| 14 Jun 2008 | James Sadler | Hey, thank you for the comments, very much appreciated. I really love the intricacy of your work. I like how it feels like an amalgamation of so many ancient artistic customs... Like Indian Henna tatoos, neolithic cave paintings, Celtic art, and a sort of Native American, totemic look.
I like how there seems to be so much mystery in such kinds of art (yours included, obviously!), the stylisation and fantastically symbolic nature is rather splendid indeed! Jessica P. Brooks replies: "Well and thank you so much! I’m -very- delighted and flattered! And now I have to go check out the other galleries (yours is the next stop...be warned) to keep my ego in check lol.
Hmm well since you mentioned it lol...I’ve been fascinated by ancient cultures since I was a youngling...it’s funny because the ones you mentioned were some of my obessions...such are the things that brew around in one’s head and eventually escape onto paper. It’s awesome you picked up on those influences!
Anyway thanks again! And by the way, you’re welcome!

| 23 Jul 2008 | Melissa "Bee" Stephan | I love your gallery. You’re a very talented artist, with a great eye for colors and a superb style of art. You have an obviously healthy imagination and brain-to-paper transfer program.
Keep it up, you have amazing skills. Jessica P. Brooks replies: "Thank you! I’m glad you think so lol and I really appreciate it! I’ve been told I have a healthy imagination before but usually not in those words lol. My brain-to-transfer program is faulty, works only 26% of the time...what doesn’t download floats around my head. Well, not all floats. There’s swimming, mining (little miners loitering around always knocking and tapping...gonna have to do something about them), there’s ruthless gardening...I’ve sent wee little maids to brush out the cobwebs of my mind but they keep getting stuck and well, the more I send in the more it’s cluttered. It’s looking like Shelob’s lair in there. Scary. And all that knocking and tapping! *sigh* Eventually I’ll capture all the weird little creatures and half-baked whirly-gigs, slap them onto paper and varnish them. Till then, my art will never be complete. Oh goodness, I’m rambling again! -Anyway- thank you for stopping by and I’m glad you like my gallery! " | |
