Not much to say, I like drawing, reading, and writing.  I enjoy sci fi a lot, and from there I draw a lot of inspiration.  I also enjoy comics, and fantasy to a certain extent.  In addition to doing illustration and fan art, I also produce my own comics from time to time.  I also like running around in the woods with my dog.

Nice style, nice composition and colours. Especially like your portrayal of the trees of Valinor, and the ducks, and that scene from the time machine (among others). Keep practising and I'm sure you will be a big name artist some day!

:-) Jonathan Snooks replies: "Dude, craziness man. My brothers name is Jason. Well originally my family comes from Lithuania. The guy came over i think with his wife, and he left a brother behind in Lithuania named Frank(I think). They changed our name to Snooks when my ancestor came through Ellis Island, before that the 'snooks' part was just 1 of 3 syllables. So maybe your ancestor is from Lithuania? Was your last name Snooks before they changed it?"

You have a great gallery here Jonathan. Your works are intensly colourful and both expressive and dynamic. You have a nice feel for details as well as a good thouch with backgorunds. I am often quite reluctantly allergic toward backgrounds so I am always in awe of artist who can "fill everything up" so to say. Anywho... keep doing the great things you do!

I'm a Christian too but I find other ways to bother people.. I really like your work. You put a lot of thought into your compositions and have good use of color.
