So much detail and lovely colors. Everything is lovely to the eye in there, awesome job as always Joel N. Barkley replies: "You are so funny! OMG! lol! I wanted the king to appear as though he was being told some startling news, the likes of which was causing him to get angrier by the moment, so I’m glad that his intense expression does indeed read well." | |

| 21 Nov 2008 | Arya Rowandale | Loading...It looks like you took pictures of actual people, photoshopped it, painted... The inspiration is overwhelming. Joel N. Barkley replies: "All of my art is hand drawn and hand painted. No air brushing, no photoshop. I don’t even know how to run the photo shop on my computer. It just sits there gathering digital dust. I work from photos of models, everything is free hand drawn, with painstaking care. I takes hours to do each face and days to do an entire torso. I have ridiculous standards for myself. I guess that makes me an ego maniac! Oh, well, at least there’s art to enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!" | |
