But, I gotta ask you something: Why did you give one of your pics a swedish title? See ya later/breadhobbit. Johanna 'Jojjon' Nyberg replies: "Hehe, thank you very much! I gave it a Swedish title because... Well, I sort of was lazy, and I couldn't come up with the right English words in my head, so I sort of went the easy way... Hihi ^^" | |

| 7 Jul 2005 | Trevor Mathis | Loading...I must say that while this is desent artwork, and very exceptional work on the pegasi, there are two things holding you back. Those are feet and depth. A true bane of artists, feet are quite hard until you get the hang of them. You character's fee appear as extensions of their calves and not contoured at all like a real foot should be and is. When the foot is viewed from the side it seems to lack a third dimensional quality, which is a lead in to depth. Most of these images( I say most because there are some that showcase good depth, I site the pegasi yet again.) appear flat and rudimentary, which I know you can do better. Try angling the feet so one appears to be coming towards the viewer a curve line where the foot meets the ankle works well to this effect. Also consider when at a slight side angle putting one arm and leg infront of the torso and the others behind it, this will help give depth. I hope this criticism has been taken as a series of helpful tips and not hurtful words. Johanna 'Jojjon' Nyberg replies: "No, no! It's not hurtful at all! I'll almost never get any real constructive criticism! I'll really appreciated your comment and I'll take your words to me when I keep drawing! Thank you very, very much for your comment!" | |
