Playing Crimson Skies gave me the idea of doing a sketch of a Brigand (my favourite aircraft in the game). It was kind of obvious that I picked a Brigand in the first place - extreme firepower from the quad cannons up front and a heavy anti-aircraft turret on the back, very durable design, and the fact that it made it very easy to take on that huge zeppelin that could generate force 5 tornadoes from a wind turbine at the end of High Road to Revenge (can't remember the name of it, but it was destroying Chicago).

I would most definitely hate to face one of these in reality if I was flying in the 1930's of that alternate universe.

1 Mar 2008	John R Farley Jr	Loading... If you have a circle template, the propeller would look much better. Still this is a good picture. The aircraft reminds me of a 1930’s vision of the future. But it also looks like a cousin of the American Corsair from World War II. Nice design. John L Morgan replies: "Well, what can be said about Crimson Skies aircraft. There are many strange-looking aircraft in the game series, I can tell you. Now that you mentioned it, many of the aircraft in Crimson Skies do look similar to true historical fighter planes."
