"Corinthian Armoured Guard Standard Uniform" by John L Morgan

A friend and classmate asked me to sketch an Imperial Guardsman after watching me draw yet another reptilian hybrid (one with the M82-like sniper rifle is the exact sketch). Thanks to him, I did so with, yet again, more references.

My own IG Regiment, hailing from the hive world of Corinth, wears this uniform. I picked the doctrines as being Carapace Armour, Grenadiers, Iron Discipline, Sanctioned Psykers and Storm Trooper Squads just to have fun with an elite shock company. Who wouldn't have fun with special forces?

This guy is wearing Carapace Armour with a helmet, more or less based off the marine helmets in Halo, with an HUD. And if you noticed his legs being too short, give yourselves a break - the guy is wearing something similar to what the romans had underneath their armour, albeit another colour (likely red in honour of Macedon). The lasgun is unmodified.

I personally understand that I need to work on his left hand as it looks like a piece of junk and possibly his sling (the lazy Sergeant)
