| 20 Dec 2001 | Lovecraft-fan | Loading...It's a fantastic picture! It really looks like The Old Ones highpriest(even if i think of Cthulhu like a big fat thing)! Maybe he has been released from his prison in the sunken city R'yleh, and now has destroyed mankind? | |
| 3 Mar 2002 | Aaron Weaver | Loading...Cool picture. Looks like Cthulhu is living the life of R'yleh. I doubt he is going to kill everyone, toturing everyone will be more fun for him. John R. McCue replies: "true...he`ll want to keep a few of us around for entertainment purposes. " | |
| 16 Mar 2002 | P-Chan | Loading...I LOVE this pic of Cthulhu! The crispness of your work is professional by all means that I have seen! You shouldn't be so hard on yourself... your work is vastly greater than some I have seen, artist to artist! ^_^ John R. McCue replies: "Thanks for the great comment. " | |

| 15 Jan 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...That is very good. However, I am still partial to the long, slender, meak looking Cthulhu. Well, meak besides the hideous nightmares. But you can look past that. | |
| 9 Jul 2006 | Wolfe | Loading...Hm...I also am more partial to the sinewy, wraith like Cthulhu. Unfortunately you have a rather poor sense of physical proportion and tone. The wings should be much larger, if they are to support a body of that size. Look at birds, their wingspan is massive in comparison to their body size. I can't tell where his leg goes after his tail covers it. You should draw everything as if it is traslucent or transparent, and then fill in what is solid and what should be in the foreground. The drawing is flat, I see no sense of spatial proportion or perspective. Use of tone is mediocre, as I said. Good concept overall, but it simply does not do Cthulhu any justice at all. | |
