She's not a bad person, but she has to drink blood to survive. Her last victim put up a bit of a struggle and the whole thing was rather unpleasant. So she made a decision. She doesn't want to do this any more. And so she starts walking, across the desert, as the sun comes up to end her misery. The thing in her hand is a blood-caked lump of hair - not a big spider(as my husband thought!!). I drew this entirely on the computer using a tablet and Painter Classic and I am still getting used to it so be kind! :D

Wow. It's a really beautiful picture, despite the fact that it's subject matter is so depressing. The sign behind the girl is very realistic...Congrats!
