Rachel is a painfully shy daydreamer who may or may not be as weird as people think she is.

Erm...I start most of my sentences with 'erm' or 'hmmm' because I never know what to say! :) I am still from North West England and currently living in the Black Forest area of South Germany, with my husband, Michael. I still get bored very easily if I don't have a book to read and still spend way too much time in the cinema. I will never get the hang of German grammar and if I don't start drawing again on a regular basis in the very near future I am going to go mad. Art is the best therapy in the world. Apart from tea. And I enjoy it (tea too), which is way more important than things like talent. I am inexperienced regarding art mediums and techniques but hope to develop and widen my range beyond mere scribbling away with my water-soluable pencils and chalk-pastels! I'd learn to do computer art if I could afford the software. I am in awe of Elfwood and its artists - you are all an inspiration, keep it coming!

Mostly I love your funny versions of Lotr and matrix, but also the picture where the unicorn and the horse fights. So keep up the good work. Rachel E. When I read your comment, I almost freaked out when I saw who it was from, because your last name has an E on the end!!! My last name used to have an E, but my grandad, for some reason, dropped it. So now it's just "Johnston". Are we related, I wonder?? O_O That would be very strange. Rachel E. Johnstone replies: "Oo! I've just seen all the new smileys here. Nice.
