	This is for all those who were annoyed at Arwen replacing Glorfindel in the Fellowship movie - she didn't get away with it unpunished!!

Misery loves company? Rachel E. Johnstone replies: "To be fair...there are a LOT of characters in LOTR and putting them all in would just have confused the viewers who don’t know the books and made the film at least an hour longer. "

3 Aug 2008	LOTR Superfan	Loading... Hahaha! That’s great! Some of the best cartoon LOTR up here! Even though I knew it was supposed to be Glorfindel I still thought that scene was cool in the movie. At least it made scense. Did you know in a cartoon version of LOTR they had Legolas doing that bit? Oh, the shame! Rachel E. Johnstone replies: "Do you mean Bakshi’s animated film that suddenly skipped half of the story? Anyway, thank you for your comment - you must be the first to comment here who didn’t mind Glorfindel being replaced! "

30 Nov 2008	Gemma Levitt	Loading... Lol I still love this picture- It makes me laugh everytime I see it which is great for when I’m having a bad day. I’ve always found that I preferred Glorfindel to Legolas (not sure why really given he makes some fairly daft comments during their disscussion of the ring, but hey is is generally just more interesting because there is so little about him) so I was a tad dissapointed that he was replaced by Arwen in the film. I can understand why they did it though as Arwen really has very little to do until the end of the book! A brilliant take on the situation. Rachel E. Johnstone replies: "Thank you, Gemma. Maybe you preferred Glorfy because Legolas didn’t do an awful lot in the book except shriek like a girl when the Balrog turned up?! ;D"
