	Oh dear! You are finally reunited with the wife you haven't seen for centuries and, as if explaining why the kids didn't come with you isn't hard enough, you've got the mother-in-law sticking her nose in! (For anyone who doesn't get it, Arwen wasn't the first elf lady in the family to give up immortality for the love of a mortal man - great great granny Lúthien started the trend.)

Me: YOU WERE PULLING MY LEG??? Legolas: nods Me: sometimes I don't know who got the worse end of the deal . Rachel E. Johnstone replies: "Elrond is tough, he can take it. Legolas stayed with you? You do know that he'll run off with Gimli as soon as the next ship comes along!?"
