Welcome to the woods! You have a very unique and interesting style. Keep up the good work! And I'm really curious for the things that might be come from you in future. Don't ask me why, but I have the feeling that you show only a part of your actual skills.

:-) Jodie M. Biggs replies: "Thanks for the feedback Oliver. I do what I can, but I often feel I have no time to draw. Oddly enough most of these start as doodles in the longer meetings at work! I would love to do more, but have a time versus money issue."

You do most of them in meetings? lol, sounds like how most of my pics come into being, except they'd be during classes. Obviously its the mark of a genious.

:-) Jodie M. Biggs replies: "I've become a bit notorious for it. Now I just have to make sure I don't start rows when I give doodles to colleagues!"

If she is indeed your favorite author, you ought to know that her last name is spelled McCaffREY, not McCaffery. *end rant mode* My apologies for sounding all pissy about it, I honestly don't mean it that way -- I'm just in a mood. Okay, I'm off to NOT pick on spelling. 1

:-) Jodie M. Biggs replies: "I hate it when I swap letters like that! Thanks for noticing!"

Ah! I'm reading "The Rowan" right now. McAffrey is also one of my mom's favorite authors, so we have a lot of her books around the house for me to steal and read. I also like her Acorna series, as well. I also have read Black horses for the king, as well as some pern books. I really liked the Harper Hall Trilogy. *Grins* Oi, I must wind down and get ready to go to youth group. Thanks for the comment on my gallery!

:-) Jodie M. Biggs replies: "I've really enjoyed the Rowan series and Pern, but I must say that I haven't tried Acorna and have yet to read the Harper Hall set. You may also want to try the Crystal Singer series they are more 'Rowan-like' than Pern-y."

I like your work. You have a great eye for shading. Would you mind if I let my old high school teacher look at your work?
