Tag As FavoriteComment		The onix is a huge snake. It is carnivore, like snakes in general. One special trait of an onix is that it continues to grow throughout life. This sample is just a baby onix resting on an underground shelf.
This means that really old onixes become extremely large. An onix hardly needs any of the superpowers, typical for a pokemon, to defend itself or to hunt, as its sheer size, weight, armour and snakelike speed and agility makes it a really dangerous adversary. In times of need though it can cause earth tremors and dig through solid rock as it was almost fluid to it.

2. You see that rock next to the soldiers? That is what Onix is on.
3. It is a snake, so it shouldn't be too rocky.
4. Obviously, it is small since it is probably young.
