Android angst. Side poem to my short story, Mirror.

No emotions
No existance
Nothing but this solid shell
Nothing but my endless strife
I have nothing but myself
And what am I inside?
Endless wires, cords and gears
Not one drop of blood or tears
Missing heart
Missing soul
Not one place to put it all
Just a nightmare
Just a scream
Not one peaceful, waking dream
I am trapped in a metal shell
I am trapped in endless hell
Nothing but me here in space
Nothing but my endless place
Always cold
Always dead
Have no need for a single bed
Just one life is just one joke
I am death and life incarnate
No emotions
No existance
Nothing but my endless hell
Trapped inside my metal shell

16 Jun 2002	Lenore L. Towne	Loading... I felt like this before you gave me that little pep talk. Oh, and thanks again for that. It really helped me out. Anywho...back to the poem! I love this one. I especially like the part about no blood or tears and the last two lines are my favorite. It really caputres the agony of the android. Great job!!! Jonathon T. Parker replies: "^_^ Thanks a lot."
