	A bound angel. This is not my usual style... but every now and again I force myself to draw something new or different. It keeps you from getting boxed in to one style and challenges you as an artist so you don't get bored. I added only the slightest of manual tones for shadow and to enhance the leather

Devon Jopling replies: "thanks. My leather really doesn't get that punch until I add tones. The best advice I can offer is reference! Comic books are great for that. Leather (like metal) often has a huge contrast in light and dark when it is lit. So remember; heavy black and stark whites in contrast."

7 Aug 2007	Pavel Kovalančík	Loading... Hi Devon again. Whooow what a great picture. Pose is great and playing with that leather. Strokes with a pen, waaah perfectly made. Feathers looks nice too. You are really skilled in this line art. How about trying to colour your picture? I have drawn (correct?) with pencil and pen only , too. But now i try use colours, too. I dunno if it is with success.
