Kam teiks cover their bodyies with symbolic tattoos for various stages of their life. However since they are covered with fur I decided to make them brands instead. Basically, a brand is made, just like for a horse or cow and is branded onto the skin. Hair singes away and is regrown white, so it kinda looks like a tattoo! neat eh?

This one is reaaaly good. Il love her legs, they are specials and her head too. Why she have "rune" or symbols on her body?, anyway it's cool. You work realy well2

:-) Devon Jopling replies: "The symbols represent a comming of age of the Kam'Teik Male or female. Each stage of life consitutes a different symbol."

You know, that's one of the best pictures of an original biped that I've seen for a while. I love the designs. They flow into each other rather beautifully. I like the way you used the line of circles to make it flow like that. Is there some sort of symbology behind why the markings are designed like that?

:-) Devon Jopling replies: "The whole idea of the symbols all over her body are similar to neck bars or lip disks. Different growing stages of a Kam'Teik's life are marked with a branding. Whent hey are born they get the infant marks on their legs, as they grow, depending on if they are firstborn or second born or so on, they get marks on their sholders, when they grow into woman or manhood, they get the symbol on their lower stomach. Mother and father symbols on their arms represent what family they are and come from and when they mate they get their husband's symbol on their face."

That is SUCH an awesome idea. Your designs are beautiful, too. I'd love to see this or the sailor one colored.

:-) Devon Jopling replies: "I'm working on it ^_^;;;;"
