'Look gib, here in Agazar it ain't matter if you orc 'er elf 'er some 6 tentacled one eyed freak, ya'nderstand? You gotta watch out fer a few things here, lil Matilda Thistledon over there trying to swipe ole Pauldron's cashpurse again, no matter how many times ya throw 'er out she just keeps comin' back. Dandor Glubwick the gnome passed out over there with his ass hangin outta his pants. He's toxic, won't give noone the time o' day. Froxil Deadaxe the insane dwarf axethrower will take you outside if you knock a single drop outta his cup, stand clear. You see that lizard lookin fella? That's Hessivra, she's a Seldekor, from the ole country somewhere. She's a real hag. Don't tell her I said that. The Bartender's an ok fella, a little too cheerful for me tho'. The elf is a real nasty gib, and i'm talkin bout his fightin' skills. The orc is another story, a real gentleman, hah, an orc gentleman, bet ya don't see that ev'ryday eh? The rest o' these gibs I don't really much know, a couple o' adventurin parties settlin' down. Well there's the skinny. Enjoy your stay, make yourself at home.'

Pencil and tinted. Took me quite a while to do, can't believe I had so much patience hah. Lots of detail lost in the resizing.

A little proportion work (not that I could do better) would make this into the sort of picture you expect to find in published Fantasy Novels!

15 May 2002	April Pacey	Loading... Hey! I've been in that bar, it's my local. The woodwork is superb, looks so real. I love all the detail (I can see I'm going to get a numb butt while I'm here ) I like the comedy edge with the guy in the foreground, obviously too drunk to worry about his appearence.

I love this peice, great work, I can see a bar room brawl getting ready to break out at any moment, the Jawa is gonna kick the poor little Kobold down the steps sending him tumbling into the werewolf who will in turn not appreciate being bothered, he aint the type to take to being ran into to well, the Kobold Will then be sliced in half by the werewolfs great sword and the Dwarf at the top of the stares will either feel sorry for the kobold or just see an excuse to do what dwarves do best and the rest is history.
