As you may or may not have noticed this woman bears the same name as the blonde archer in my gallery. Want an explanation? The archer is from a story of mine, this dark haired girl is an RPG character of mine. I named her M'Aguneh because I really like the name and didn't want to think of a new name, heehee. This is a somewhat comic book style mixed with a bit of manga perhaps. The background was somewhat inspired after a photograph I saw a long time ago and kept being stuck in my head since I find mountains so fascinating. M'Aguneh's official weapon is the three section staff but she uses it to disarm others so she can take their weapons whenever it pleases her. She is still very young (only fourteen) and desperately fights kobolds, goblins and other monsters to rescue her brother. Setting of the story is an online AD&D RPG group. ^_^ Ah, and she has a magical key! Nifty, no?

First comment!!! Great job!!! I really like the background a lot!!! I love how your coloring is simplistic but at the same time, very well done and detailed.

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "I'm glad that came across cos that is exactly my intention. Makes me feel I can at least do something right *g*

Hope to see your new work soon. Can't wait to take a look."

It lacks some shading, but never mind that. It is just great. Again a nice pose and a perfect expression. She looks like someone who I don't want to mess with ^_^

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "It doesn't lack shading at all. This is exactly the way I color. I don't like using too much shading unless it's my intention. Pleased you still like it regardless of the shading. 2"

Jorieke will you never stop? New technique again? Can you do everything you want? I love the way the colours match on this image, it's very soothing to look at. I agree with Judith on the shading, but on the other hand, maybe it doesn't suit to the style? Anyway, I like it just the way it is. 2

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "I can do everything REGULAR I want, yes. But when it comes to uniqueness.... *big sigh*

And yes, the lack of shading fits the style, it was my intention. 2 thanks for commenting!!!"

It's wonderful once again! I find your style very refreshing and unique in spite of what you may say..

It's wonderful once again! I find your style very refreshing and unique in spite of what you may say.. (I know I know, my english sucks!!!)

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "Thank you, Irene!! And no, your English doesn't suck, look at all those inferior kids that lack knowledge of their OWN language let alone a foreign one..."

Hmm...
I really should creep out of my cosy little spot more often and visit yours.
Then I may have noticed this wonderful picture earlier.
This is definitely my favorite rendering of her...

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "It's my favorite rendering as well, the style really suits the character. Thanks for crawling out of your shell for a change. 10"

Awesome! Look at those muscles. I have a character whose about the same age and wields a similar weapon, but yours looks like she could beat her in an arm-wrestle with no problem...Actually, she looks like she could beat ME in an arm-wrestle...*Ahem*

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "Lol... she works hard to be that strong... plus, she's on a special diet. 12"

I love her expression. And the green eyes contrast well with her face. Everything in this picture works so well together. Beautiful pic.

:-) Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "Thank you very much, Rebecca! She does have striking eyes, eh? 2"
