SciFi and Fantasy Art Who Said I Ever Cared? by Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls

Scene from a LARP event I participated in recently (Shiverz). I played Syrith Noir, a.k.a. The Black Widow. She enjoys getting rid of those that are in between, as in average, those that are arrogant without actual right to be and to fund her life she marries innocent, wealthy, powerful men and kills them soon after. This one was in luck, sort of... he lived longer than any of his predecessors. He did die as soon as Syrith got the change. She thinks she might regret it right now, even though she doesn't understand. Her new goal is to seduce this guy's father, who is a rather important chieftain. The picture might deserve more explanation to understand the story behind it but the drawing itself says what needs to be told. Done in basic pencil whilst studying for an upcoming final. On a side note: this guy really loved her, poor thing thought he'd won the lottery with having Syrith.

Don't you want to try out a Larp once?"

24 Oct 2003	Anneke Hut	Loading... Makes me think of the cover for a book. I would buy it, it has a wonderful atmosphere. Why don't you make covers, Jorieke? You can do it just great! Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls replies: "Ah! You give me way too much credit, Anneke! I don't do covers because no one ever asked me to do a cover. And as fasr as my own stories are concerned... if they're published I'll ask Nathan to illustrate. Perhaps I will illustrate Fields of Summer myself tho, I'm not too sure yet. The drawing itself was done inspired after a Larp I participated in. I tend to play strongwilled, powerful and independant women though they're always very different from each other. This time I, again, killed a man. Though this time he was rather innocent... poor guy XD"
