Think you can control me
You are simply weak
Think you can outsmart me
You are but a fool
Nothing can overcome me
For I am Lucifer
I am eternity
I am all there is
And everything that'll be.

Think you can defy me
Who do you take me for?
Certain you can deny me
It is you I will ignore
Nothing can overcome me
For I am God
I am eternity
I am everything's core,
I am all there will be
And so very much more

When I display my strength
The world shall tremble
When you conjure up my wrath
The people will weep
When you try to outlive me
Everyone will die

For I am God
And I am Lucifer
I am Shiva
Or whoever else you like
I am the one you won't forget
I shall guide you in the dance
Of never ending life and death
Now come and dance this dance with me
I'm sure you won't regret.

I think it's rather risky to dance with the devil, especially Lucifer. It's inevitable he will put a spell on you. And you will even like it! 2

Very nice title (caught my eye) and a very good poem to go with it!!!!!! I hate my poems, I'm so terrible at them =P Stories is more my thing (I think you agree) hehe, anyway, my fav. verse was this:
When I display my strength

Yeah, that was a good one... keep it up I wanna seeee moooooreeee!! Please.

"This dance will hurt like hell" I got that from Nightwish. And they sure are right, although I don't know what the rest of the song was about. I'm not much of a critic when it comes to poems or stories, but I can tell you I like this one. Good one Jorieke. Nice name by the way.

I like the version you have up at... shoot forgot the name of that page... but it has the poem next to the purple eyes and her hair... or is it the one were here back is turned to you?

Don't know, but it is a memerable poem.. vivid imagery. 2

Wow really really good poem, think its my favourite of your poems. *dances away* could also be life, life is like a dance and we cant do anything but dance this life away
