SciFi and Fantasy Art The DMC: Fionna Fairmeadows by Jenn Osiecki


	Fionna is the head of the forensics lab at the Department for Magical Creatures. She's usually a little less sedate than this, but she came out the way I envisioned her, so that makes up for it. Oh, and she's a fairy, of course.

10 Oct 2005	Christine	Loading... She must be able to make her wings disappear to put on her clothes or maybe she manifests the clothes magically. Jenn Osiecki replies: "Been there, thought of that. In my book, it's explained that she can actually manipulate the ridgity of her wings by regulating the bloodflow. This is how butterflies and moths inflate their wings after emerging from the cocoon, except she can reverse and repeat the process at will."

Now thats interesting, are you an animal planet fan? or was that just something you heard once that stuck with you?. anyway Great simple solution to a tricky problem Jenn Osiecki replies: "Oh God, I am fairly obsessed with Animal Planet and Food Network. Which makes me sound more than a little bizarre, but whatever. Yeah, I was just trying to come up with some concepts...and how to allow her to be able to wear normal clothing!"
16 Aug 2006	Jade	Loading... Wow, this pic is really cool. She makes me think of me, because I'm starting a forensics course at University this year and I would so love to be her! I so love all of the pics in your gallery and I haven't come across a lot of artists' galleries that make me feel like that. Keep up the excellent work!
