I know, not a real original title. This is a real quick one, and some of the rhymes may be forced....I'll be glad to take suggestions if you come up with something better (yes, you will get credit).

A is for Amphisbane, the two-headed snake
B is for Basilisk, the lizard with stone eyes
C is for Centaur, the man-horse that never takes
D is for Dragon, the great wyrm who never lies
E is for Echidne, the mother of all beasts
F is for Faun, the man-goat with blunted horns
G is for Gryphon, the bird-cat whose vigliance won't cease
H is for Hydra, the many-headed serpent of scorn
I is for Ichthyocentaur, man-horse of the sea
J is for Jabberwock, made famous by a writer
K is for Kelpie, the wave-sprite full of glee
L is for Lycaon, king of werewolves, fierce fighter
M is for Medusa, she of the beautiful snaky hair
N/b is for Naga, guardians of great treasures
O is for Orc, foul brutes who kill with a glare
P is for Pegasus, winged horse unheld by common tether
Q is for Quaggoth, white bear-men of the north
R is for Roc, great bird whose scream steals all breath
S is for Siren, silver voice drawing men forth
T is for Triton, sea-men of the depths
U is for Unicorn, proud horse with spiraled horn
V is for Vampire, blood-drinkers of the dark
W is for Wemic, man-cats with eyes of the sun-morn
X is for Xorn, rock eaters from home never depart
Y is for Yeti, white apes who live in snow
Z is for Zombie, and that is all we know
