SciFi and Fantasy Art C´thulie! by Jenny Rowland

I think the 'real' C'thulhu had, like, arms and stuff, but since he ISN'T real, mine can look like this if I want it to. And I do. This one's cute, anyway.

Pencils, scanned, 'inked' via Paint Shop Pro vectors, colored mercilessly. Used a few textures and suchlike in this one, because c'mon, it's a scaly slimy horror of the deep. The background is some very muchly tweaked photos of a stream at Cal State Fullerton's arboretum.

Originally this was going to be really cutesy and stylized, but it wound up like this. Might go back and do the stylized version sometime.

28 May 2004	Magnus Björkbom	Loading... yeah it does look more like a normal octopus than the great old one. But I like any horror from the great depth so this is nice. Wonder what your stylized version would look like.. hmm.
