Tag As FavoriteComment		This started as a temp version, but actually I may never finish this one because the snail would never wind up as cute in inks. It's a pencil sketch of a little fairy (whose wings don't yet totally exist) and her pet snail. The snail's collar is made of flowers.

She's mainly naked because I couldn't figure out what clothing to put her in. Plus I wanted to prove to myself that I could draw a human-form body without having to cover up the difficult parts with clothes.

She doesn't yet have a name, but her snail's name is Gnuup (pronounced newp).

Our pet snail was named Molasses. He lived in the bushes in the backyard, and I remember when we brought him in the house and set him on the kitchen table and let him crawl on a can lid (I think that's what it was.) He eventually departed from our habitation, sadly (not sure if "running away from home" is the best term to apply to a snail; similar thing happened with our turtle.)

(This is completely off subject, well, maybe not, but is the snail dust snail ever gonna have a name?)
