  | So a week or two ago I suddenly realized that, hey, two-foot-tall shapeshifting talking snails count as fantasy. Thus Ondine and the snails from my online comic Snail Dust make an appearance here. They're so cute. Even if the snail (the one on the left; the right one has a name, Simone) wouldn't really poke his head out in public like that. 'E's scared of people. Pencil sketch, scanned, 'inked' with vectors in Paint Shop Pro, and then completely paintbrushed in said program (no smudging, filters, blah blah blah). The background is a picture I took last year in I think Fullerton, California (it might have barely been over the Brea line), Photoshopped a bit. |
