Ow. Isn't it painfully cute? I'm such a sap. Two happy elfies on a hillside somewhere, and there's no proper background because... well... I didn't feel like putting one in. They don't seem to mind that there's a cloudy void behind them.

Originally done in pencil, then inked, scanned, printed and re-pencilled a few times. Final version is a computer-colorized inking, done in Paint Shop Pro.

Neither elfie has a name. I shall have to work on that.

How I love those snuggling poses... so cute! And leave the background as it is, it's great.

:-) Jenny Rowland replies: "Heh... good idea, save myself some work that way, right? 12"

That pose is just perfect. I've done it before, and it took me like three hours and a hundred sketches. Luvly luvly colours. They look so happy...

:-) Jenny Rowland replies: "Och, difficult pose indeed... you should see how chewed up the poor page looks where I was sketching out the first version of this thing. I must've used half an eraser-pencil-topper-thingy on it. *g*"

Can I live in a cloudy void tooooooo?? Can their names be Keyana and Jophiel? Can they, can they, can they???

:-) Jenny Rowland replies: "Of course you can live in a void, if you don't mind the lack of, like, stuff. And actually I think the girl's name is Calla. Though the boy doesn't have a name yet. I'm pondering that..."

Just wanted to note that I'm a big fan of Snail Dust. It's been my only friend these past three months... okay, scratch that... it's amused me a great deal these past few months. So much that I swear I feel some Mary Sue issues coming on. Anyway... had many deja vu moments in the whole strip. And well I just had to comment about this artwork simply because it's nice to see an elf that isn't a size 2 with double D breasts. They look sweet. Innocent. Probably will end up attacking poor lonely humans cutting down trees, but for now it's idyllic.

:-) Jenny Rowland replies: "Tee hee. RARR, SMASH TREE-CUTTING HU-MANS"
