*cough* but seriously, I'm happy tou don't go for the steriotypical slut with a sword. just something on her face...if you shded the nose a bit more, ti would look more natural. It's a bit too defined but it's relly good. I like it a lot.

That armor must be boned like a corset and laced up tightly; it looks painful! Reminds me of one of those Elizabethan dresses with the utterly impossible wasp-waists.

Your style is very graceful, and I like her cheeky little grin. Nice coloring work as well.

Jennie Seay replies: "I made the mistake of not allowing for the thickness of the armor. While the shape of her figure might look okay without clothing, it should be thickened up with the armor on. The narrowness makes it look very constricting. "

The armour may or may not be realistic -- what she is wearing is certainly possible, though it strikes me as odd that she would wear heavy, clumsy metal greaves on her legs, and then only leather on her body. Still, it makes a whole lot more sense than a chainmail bikini... But you should be especially complimented for giving her a 100% realistic sword. In fantasy you can make things look any way you want, of course, but most of the weapons depicted in Elfwood are about as realistic as... chainmail bikinis.

You did a fine job of drawing her, of course. I have a hunch that most of the people who viewed this pic are less interested in the realistic nature of her armour than we are in the fact that she is a beautiful woman, well-drawn.

Jennie Seay replies: "Personally, I really hate being kicked in the shin, which is why she has greaves. Yup, "fantasy" swords are a pet peeve of mine. Some of them have so many spikes and decorative elements they'd be more of a hazard to the weilder than the opponent. I agree that people are definitely more interested in beauty than practicality. That explains chainmail bikinis, some sports cars, and many other things in the world. "

I love the coloring job! Beautifully done, I must say. I love your pencilwork, as well - you have a great style!

So many different shades of brown... 'tis lovely, yesh. ^^ Great pose, too. My favourite item of clothing is her fringey-skirt.
