My first very real painting. I was going for a pattern but it turned into a universe full of life. The dove just came out from no where. Enjoy and tell me what you think of it.....

I used watercolour, acrylics and added effects on Ulead Photo Plus (stars).

Update Information:Just to let you know I touched the colour I should of told you but forgot and I am sorry for that but I wanted it to brust though . The real picture looked very greeny, hope you still like it though I spent ages on this piece.....

I don't know if you ment for this to be this way or it is just my imagination but if you look in the discription and at the bottom it says "added". And if you look just below the word and into the picture at that small dim star you'll find that just to the left of it there is that grayish, purplish, bluish hue. Well to me that kinda looks like the head of a dragon, see what I meen? er, uh maybe you don't but thats just something I spotted that looked kinda kool.

14 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "  Hmmmmmmm ignore the 'added' I will deal with it some other time..... But your right I can see a dragon to... Like I said before I just went with the flow. I was really tired. But my imagination was loving it so I couldn’t stop.... thanks for commenting Sophie.... And I not really have tips on colouring but I will look in for you. I am not really good at colouring. Luv Jo"

It was really stunning but a bit hard to understand I liked that It added depth to the piece. The dove you said was an afterthought but I think its more of the focal point

13 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "So true I am glad I thought of the dove.... Thank you for your comment luv Jo"

This picture is maybe the most impressive in your gallery, and represents your style very well at the same time. Your imagination flows without borderline or break, all the time I was going through your gallery I had the feeling your pictures blend with each other, making it one fluent stream of ideas, colours and feelings. Your art is very distinctive as you paint more feelings than shapes, but I'm afraid sometimes the lack of skills in those shapes devalue the final impression. But still your art can be more impressive than some pretty, technically perfect drawings - you're drawing your life, your own soul, and this way I believe you can even make it among professionals. It's a long way, but it is possible for you - and I don't say this often 1

36 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "  Veronika I have no idea what to say to this comment. Believe me if you can see that though my pictures then you are one amazing person... I drew mostly how I feel and what I want to come though out my artwork and this piece I did not hold back at any moment. But I've always wanted to make my drawings pretty but yet powerful... I feel I have been influenced by Josephine Wall in the past year.. Since I have joined Elfwood in the last year I have drawn more then every before and really started to practice... That's the key but in some ways yes I do want to become an artist to sell her work. That's a long way off but even when I am low I must remember to try and keep improving. I am now just coming out of depression and I have noticed that I am not drawing my feeling as much for now I want to create artwork and I hope the next couple of uploads I will start bring out new ideas and bring some realism in my pictures. Thank you once again luv Jo"

This is just lovely... I love the dark, deep feeling it gives - not dark as in gloomy but as in a picture with very many perspectives behind it... Also, the dove makes a beautiful contrast...
Great job dear, keep it up.

13 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "Thank you Kajsa, I just went for it... Just playing around and making a load of mess at the same time. Hope your well 12, Thanks for popping around.... I hope you take care love Jo x x x "
