"Frist Art Trade" by Joanne Louise Sheard

^Just as it say above^, First I must say thank you to the talented young artist, Kajsa Holmberg. Please check out her characters she may just inspire you. He is part elf, demon and also part of a vampire ( I wished I showed of his fangs could of been cool). Shikouy gets anger very easily and also is very skilled swordsmen in his world what is called Esmedia. I think I am showing another side of Shikouy in a more relaxed environment. This was how my imagination picked him up in the descriptions of what Kajsa was saying and I think in one statement she said that she draw Shikouy when she was anger and sad and I felt I wanted to do a relaxed Shikouy. It took me several days to plan the picture and I just let my hand did as it pleased than I kind of started to get my reference books out once again to draw his chest. But yet once again I just went with the flow and dove wasn’t planned it just came out so maybe you may see something and help me what I trying to bring though off this interesting character. I hope that all makes since also Kajsa has drawn one of my characters Mehitable and I would be grateful if you could take look because I need a little bit more confidence in my own characters to drew them and I am thankful that Kajsa has taken her time to draw my angel… She’s a talented young lady and I am sure you’ll agree with me. Also Kajsa is brilliant at drawing clothing and folds and I think I need to take a lot more practice in drawing clothing but one day I will get there and when my confidence grows I hope to bring my other planned out drawings (what haven’t been done yet. I want them to be realistic and I know they are going to be tricky but it will be the first time with so much detail, a bit like Josephine Wall.) and start designing my characters because I hope one day that I will do an online comic.
