I drew this drawing when I was 16 but I soon forgot about it and never went back to it. A few weeks ago I decide to give it another go and I coloured it in and inked the outlines of the drawing. I also drawed the background of the pegasus and the refection in the river.

can;t put my finger on it but I really like this one a lot!!!

56 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "It could be the way it is set. Many people like this picture. But I think it is good just like the stage your opening up into there world. Also the trees and the curtains bring the picture alive and the background fits it all in. Or it could just be something esle like the colour. Jo"

the way you do your lines and colours, makes me think of stained glass. It looks lovely!

1 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "Hay thanks it dose kinda but I hope I grow out of it soon. I would like to have a realistic kind of style but I think it is getting better. 12"

This is my favourite. It is so colourful! I only painted in black and white when I was younger - I was afraid of using colour. Your images are so full of emotion, this drawing makes me feel that the Pegasus is feeling trapped and wants to fly away free - maybe you feel that too? Everyone is telling you to do detailed studies but I think if you just had a large paintbrush and paints and painted freely your emotions would fly with colour across the canvas!- I love that colour!!!!

25 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "I not know how I feel these days I just get by. But I shell try your advise it could be fun 12"

1 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "Hay thank you and your right this picture would look pretty on stained glass. Glad you like her luv Jo"

How did you do the trees? The trees are amazing! Why didn't you get mod's choice?
~Sophie

12 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "I guess I just kept building up my lines and just letting my hand move freely. If that makes since. In other words I rubbed out penicl lines to make the holes in the trees and started of with action lines. Thank You I would love a mod choice just like anyother Elfwood member. Thanks Jo....."

This is my favourite. It is so colourful! Your images are so full of emotion, your emotions would fly with colour across the canvas!- I love that colour!!!!

13 Joanne Louise Sheard replies: "Oh gosh!!!! Thank you, that's very kind of you and writing so many comments!!! But anyhow I guess you can kinda tell I am an emotional person... I should not really say such things but it's the truth anyhow but these days I have never felt so much alive and just maybe next time I do get a new upload up. You may see a change in my artwork... I guess in a way I am learning to open up myself and learning to believe in myself in a way... Let's just say it's complicated and rewarding at the same time strange huh?... Thank you once agian take care luv Jo"
