"Aithne" by Jessica Faith Smith

This is the bubbly and happy Aithne, my dryad character and muse, as it were. As I've mentioned before, she gets me into more trouble than good, but I love her anyway. She seems tired in this picture.

EDIT: 1/11/2006: Aithne has come a long way with me, and she looks nothing like this now. The espression is correct, but her hair is too limp, too scraggly, and she is offended by the very existence of this picture. Despite her willful dryad protests, I keep it here in the eventuality that I update this gallery again, so that I can fulfill my own selfish needs and show people how I've improved.

The little dryad is over 300 years old, and her stubborness has not dwindled at all. she's very hard to live with, and she'll often use her earthy magic in mean, sly little ways to get revenge for being slighted. We love her anyway.
