Drawn with Mechanical pencils

A'Luna is an original character of mine from my "Cauldron of Creation" storyline. She is of the Luscent race, a people born on a star... later enslaved by the human population of the Earth federation. I hope you guys/gals enjoy her as much as I did drawing her.

I love your armor and clothing designs. So very detailed, and yet so clean! You have a beautiful style. I've wanted to take my art from fantasy to sci-fi for a long time, but I can't seem to get it quite right... where do you get your inspiration from?

:-) Jason Jsun Dement replies: "Thanks Ian, I'm happy you like my style. Overall, I still consider myself a fantasy artist but I think the sci-fi elements found their way into my art after having played final fantasy 7 where there was a mixture of both. Also, the story world I've created which is still mostly in my head has a bit of both in it while remaining mostly fantasy. I do read tons of fantasy novels which could contribute to my inspiration but I think most of it just works it's way into my imagination. I'll be honest and say that the majority of the design comes as I draw. To think that I'd had it all figured out before I set pencil to paper would be a bit ludicrous. I'm not really sure if I answered your question but a little insight from where I'm sitting, I've been a bit envious of people who can do more traditional styles of armor. Sometimes it feels like what my characters are wearing is perhaps a bit to over the top for most fans of the genre. Thanks for the comment!"

Your pencil work is lovely! It's got a clean fresh feeling, and that you use that technique to depict beautiful subjects such as this girl (who is gorgeous in so many ways) just makes it even better. 2 The only slight problem I can see would be her nose - it doesn't quite seem to be in alignment with the other facial features. It's really nothing big though compared to how cool the picture looks in general. 2

:-) Jason Jsun Dement replies: "Thank you very much Vilhelmina! I appreciate the wonderful compliment! (ps. Great eye on the nose... except she should have less of a human appearance and the nose should be more catlike for lack of a better description. The bridge of her nose is supposed to be flatter than what you and I are used to seeing on people. I'm just not sure if I pulled it off. Let me know if it looks better now with that in mind. Thanks for the help!)"

she looks like an exotic beauty-queen (and if she participated in a miss-election, she would definitely win the first price) her look is perfect, but I wonder if her personality is also flawless...!

:-) Jason Jsun Dement replies: "Thank you so much Lucy! Your comment is greatly appreciated! Sorry my reply is so late, but the newer changes to Elfwood should help me keep up a bit more. I do like the makeover they’ve given it. Thanks again 1 and her personality is a lovely one hehe"

I agree with Ian Paul, the clothes design is superb, and the detail is just so much, it must have been a lot of fun to draw all this... I know I love doing detailed work.

:-) Jason Jsun Dement replies: "It was a blast drawing this 1 Thank you so much for your kind compliment and I apologize for the late reply!"
