*guilty smile* Hi Jennifer, happy New Year! I have been so busy lately and so have neglected Elfwood; I apologise profoundly. =) I'm still in the process of reading Elven Folklore, so don't give up on me just yet. J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "*grins back* Happy New Year! I know how busy we can all get, so don't worry about it too much. ^_~ Take as long as you need to read it; it's not a small order, I can tell you that. If you do find yourself...unhappy about reading it, go ahead and read something else. I know we all don't like the same thing, so I won't get offended if that happens.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note. I hope your holidays and New Year has been good so far."
Hey Proudfoot! Just leaving a comment because I haven't been on recently nor heard from you so I thought I might just say hello. Been working on Annals of Retribution in odd parts so there is nothing new to post as of yet. My old story chapters are back up and I haven't felt the need to get rid of them yet. Stop by and give me a shout. Night! J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "Hard at work editing, are you? I am too. I'm working on revising Elven Folklore. It takes quite a bit to edit something, doesn't it? You have to decide what to keep and what to throw. And when you change something it changes a lot of other things. 0.o It's quite a lot to handle. Good luck with all that. As much work as it is, it's worth it. Thanks for stopping by."
Hey Jennifer. Just wanted to tell you that although I haven't put up a new chapter to my story, I did upload a short story that I have done. I was wondering if you could check it out and tell me what you think. J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "I will most certainly check it out. Thank you for letting me know."
Heya. I just took your link from the NaNoWriMo forums. I've been here before. I remember reading "Pooka" and enjoying it. Do you know if there's a group for Elfwoodians participating in NaNoWriMo? I found a thread for folks from Wyvernsmiths under writing groups, but so far I'ven't spotted a general EW group. . . J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "That's so cool that you read my stories before you found me on NaNo. I know several Wyvern's writers are doing NaNo, but I don't know of a ring or anything. I know at the Wyvern's Library LJ some of us were talking about it. Other than that, I'm sorry I can't be much help. Good luck with your project."
I mean, it's already just such a wow thing to get *a* mods, but three! That's amazing. Well-deserved. ^^ Keep up the happiness! J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "Just do your best and I'm sure you'll earn one, as well. "

*waves* Happy holidays! Apologies for not having been here in ages. I'm still catching up on reading backlog... Never leave returning favours undone. It'll just cause trouble catching up.
Anyway, stopped by to wish you and yours happy holidays, as I'm sure you've gathered. ^-~ J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "Happy holidays to you and yours, as well. It's good to see that you're still around. "
Hey, so long time no see (or should I say read >.<. I dropped by to see what is new and hot. I honestly don't know what too look at first. I should be updating soon (I hope.....) I'll let you know when I have something good and cohesive up.
Anyways happy holidays and valentines day (I seemed to have missed those...) and let me know what you've been up to.
Just wanted to tell you that I am a big fan of yours and have been reading your stories for over a year now. (Sorry that I am just now commenting.) I check back here periodically to see if there's anything new. You have a great style and really capture the emotions of your characters. Looking forward to your future tales! J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "Thank you for reading. I was actually recently thinking about taking this site down, as I haven't updated it in a while. You and the few others who've commented recently have changed me mind.I haven't really written too much lately, but I am working on outlines and new story ideas. I should have some new stuff up by early December.Thank you for commenting."
Hello, just wanted to say I’m so sad that you haven’t been updating
I see you haven’t visited for quite a while, but in case you read this... I’m still hoping for more Elven Folklore. I check your shelf every once in a while to see if there’s something new up - but no, only silence. Is there any chance?
Hope dies last. J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "I haven’t revisited Elven Folklore in a while. I actually have been taking a break from writing for a while. Since I got my new job, though, I’m starting to think I might take it back up again. Looking on what is currently written for "Tribe of the Wind", I’m not happy with, and I’m actually trying to find a way to completely rewrite that. -It was actually really far along before I stopped uploading.- I’ll let you know if/when I update it. Thank you for your kind words."

Hey fellow Proudfoot, I just stumbled upon this website by googling my own name...I got here after about 6 or 7 pages (without any references to myself, yet)...Anyway, it looks like a very cool site...Just thought I’d say hello, from New England, where it’s a cold, snow covered winter’s day...I’m in a melancholy mood, and kind of bored stuck inside the house..So I hope you don’t mind this greeting....Keep up (or get back to) the good work!....I have to sign up now...I have some pretty wild artwork, that might find a niche on Elfwood.... Ned. J (Proudfoot) Taylor replies: "Thank you for dropping by. Enjoy your visit to Elfwood."
