The porportions and shading are done well. However, there is nothing elven about this pic, her clothes and figure and everything look more like some girl going to prom than an elf.

Dont fairy's usually have wings then? This is a good drawing, but I just think you need to look into it a little deeper.

:-) Julianne Dodds replies: "This isn't supposed to be a fairy; this is Arwen the elf from LOTR. So she shouldn't have wings, and the fairy tales I usually illustrate are by Grimm, so there aren't many actual fairies in them. Perhaps a misnomer, but there's rarely confusion. Thank you for the compliment Jordan."

In my humble opinion, she doesn't fit with my idea of Arwen, but I don't really care about the title. She is gorgeous, and I adore this pic. It is so beautiful, especially her face. I can't stop looking at it! O_O
