I know it sounds strange, but i really like the fact the paper is landscape. I love the way the colours are used too! Julianne Dodds replies: "Everyone always likes the anime-style work best... I don't, but everyone else seems to..."

Anime, unless it's top-notch, is (in Byron's vivid if inappropriate expression) frigging the imagination. But in your more realistic but mythic work I get the feeling you're really exploring, you're getting someplace worth getting to, especially in the best stuff where you let your imagination really take the bit between its teeth. I'm not sure I could say it much better than that, I'm afraid. Julianne Dodds replies: "I agree with you. I don't really like the anime style anymore, but I was stuck in that rut for a while when I was about 12. I learned a lot from it, but for me anime was basically a dead end."

I haven’t been able to develop it past what I had there that you looked at. THAT SAID, I do enjoy doing it and I’m glad to see that you were able to "grow" out of it into more mature types of art-- that to me gives me hope. This girl is lovely and I thought I wanted to comment that, even though she may be anime, she’s still some great artwork.
