Julie Lives in the Great Wet Northwest, the Puget Sound area. Works as a head framer, and sidelines in illustration and fine art.
 
 
 
I haven't updated here in an eternity! I'm currently working as the head framer at an art and framing shop here in the gorgeous Puget Sound area. On the side I've been doing magazine and children's illustration. On top of that, I'm also expanding my fine art, entering more shows, getting into galleries and whatnot, mainly with my painted feathers. I have one posted here, but the most of them are not themed for Elfwood, sorry to say... but if you're curious, you can view them here.

As if all that on my plate wasn't enough, I'm also a Bear Den leader for the Cub Scouts. It's amazing how much can be learned from a group of nine-year-olds! :-) As you can see, I like to stay very busy. I do have more recent stuff on my Yerf Gallery, until I find the time to get some up here... and I will get more art posted here, I promise!

Your art is both beautiful and well drawn! It is very sad to see so many beautiful feather-pictures be removed cause in my mind as well as many others mind they are indeed fantasy! But I think you should ask the mod´s ore ERB if you can post them in a sci-fi gallery, because they should be seen by everybody in Elfwood! So keep up the excellent work that you do and I look forward to see more of your art in the future!

Wow! that is about all I can say! I love your work on the feathers! and the animals are absolutely wonderful. It is neat to see someone who can do cartoony looking stuff as well as real....most just do one or the other...and then there are people like me who could not draw to save their skin...we just come to gawk at those with skill...Have a great day and keep up the great work! Hello, your pictures are really well done (you probably know this) and highly enjoyable to see. Your serie of pictures with sacred animal seems so nice, unfortunately the erbs have removed it, I think it's a pity : THOSE ANIMALS, ESPECIALLY WOLVES, HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RELATED TO "FANTASY" WORDS, AND UNFORTUNATELY IF WE DON'T CARE, WOLVES WILL SADLY BE A MYTHIC, LEGENDARY, ANIMAL ONE DAY ! 8

Love your art. I have a passion for anthros (all I ever write about =P) and you do justice to them! I'm sure you won't mind if I put a link to your gallery on my shelf ^^. I like giving my readers the ability to see anthro art as well if they're anthro lovers like me, as the art that I have done myself (which, by the way, is way worse than most of the stuff on Elfwood) isn't up here, hehe. Anyway, keep up the good work!
