Jonna drew this picture of Khandir Sa´Regon for me to paint, and I was very happy to color such great character; he is an eternal dragon but in this picture he is in his human-like form.
He, his twin-brother Kharagath and their father, the king, live with some other creatures and beings in a planet that was created and is ruled by their race. Khandir and his brother will one day rule the planet together, at least according to the plans. Who knows how it'll work out!

Khandir likes to read books and is a quiet person in a way, and he likes to spend time alone and isn't very social, but I like him. :3 Jonna has awesome charas and mad marker-skills, you better check out her gallery as well!

Drawn by Jonna Lylykangas , inked and colored by me.
Mediums: indian ink, watercolors.

I love how it's the knight of night but he's not black or dark, he's so shining and brilliant with moonlight, it's a spectacular idea.

:-) Johanna Tamminen replies: "Now I've got a version of him jumping against the moonlight, being shown as nothing but a shadow, on my mind! *lol* I didn't think of that kind of possibility when painting this one since its mood would be far from the one I planned this to have."

Wow simply amazing!! I give standing ovations to any artist who is good with watercolor, since I find that I am not too well refined with watercolor. Congrats on MC. The drawing of the armor and face are excellent and the coloring makes it even better.

:-) Johanna Tamminen replies: "Thanks, thanks! 1"

Very inspiring! One complaint - the outline of the moon look a little sketchy, and the background is kinda splotched. Is that intentional?

:-) Johanna Tamminen replies: "Well, since I'm no human-compasses, I can't draw huge, perfect circle shapes. Especially not with ink.
And the background looks like that because that's how I painted it, you can read about the process on the description. "
