SciFi and Fantasy Art Skeleton Priest by Johanna Tamminen

I have actually painted this picture twice; this is the first version.
The second version is all wine-red, has rose-pedals in the background and it doesn't have the Ghont-skeleton in it.
So the pictures are very different, but they both have an elf-men in the same pose in 'em. I liked painting both of them, this kinda makes me want to try painting many different versions with one line-art more often....

Drawn by Ulla Nissinen, inked and colored by me.
Mediums: Watercolors, ink and hand-made paper.

Tries to calm Heather down No worries, that Ghont will be protecting the priest-elf even after it’s death. Ah, such loyal creatures..."

25 Feb 2003	Mikko K. J. Eerola	Loading... It's funny how I agree that the colors are a bit samey but still I like this painting a lot, so much in fact that I can feel it in my shoulders. Can't think of any other way the colors should be. I like the tattoos on his ears they make me want to touch them. stops commenting and just STARES this pic for several hours @.@ Johanna Tamminen replies: "There is also another version of the same pic, a wine-red one. 24 Apr 2003	Vaya	Loading... Whoa! I saw the other one of these first and I like them both equally. The way you work with the colours is just mind numbing. I love the tattoos on his skin too. They add the atmoshear of the art work especially with that skull there too. Which it wonderfully drawn by the way tell her I said that. Now I'm going to have to call you evil, only because of how inspirational these pictures are. I am now going to take my alpha-smart and lock myself in a padded room once I am done looking at you gallery anyway.
