I think you have good ideas; you have some problems with the proportions, but anything that practice cant solve. Keep on 1

28 Joyce van Denzen replies: "You're right, I do have issues with proportions, especially with the neck on my blonde fairy, but I was too lazy to change it on this occasion. And surely lots of other area's. The Manga-ish elf was not as thin as it is now, I think I did something wrong when loading it up. Teehee, this is why I joined Elfwood, to get useful comments. "

Actually when I first joined Elfwood in 2005 a kind neighbor of mine in Gallery 723 did this and helped me to feel welcome, so in that spirit:

Hi, thanks for your comment!!! It´s great that one doesn´t lose his/her love for art and fantasy once out of the teen stage. Most people tend to do so, like it´s something childish. My congrats to you!!

:-) Joyce van Denzen replies: "I was actually amazed to see so many young talented people. Sure, most young(er) draw, but really didn't expect them to be such good ones.I don't consider myself to being that old and I did re-discover drawing recently."

He there, don't talk yourself down like that. The most important thing is that you enjoy yourself and want to improve yourself. Ik heb trouwens veel minder goed werk gezien hier op Elfwood. Onwaarschijnlijk veel kinderen hier. I'm also in my early thirties and always looking to improve myself. You may want to look at some tutorials on how the human head and body is constructed. If you need help just mail me.
