Tag As FavoriteComment		It was a boring evening so I thought that I'd paint something. This was the result. Strange for me to paint an elf. I usually never do anything with pointy ears. I think I overworked it a bit. Didn't get the colors right on the first go so I had to rub some of it off and paint again... so the paper didn't quite like it. And some of the colors still look a bit smudgy. The hair looks totally different in reality. It's more black. And the lines should be either more sharper of more undefined... Overall, I liked doing this.

Ach, we meet again, Elf lady.
What a sloppy artwork. Look at the lines where her skin meets the background. Look at the wavy cheeks. They don't look too firm, but I like the hair. I wish I could have a hair like hers. And the ears are nice too, in a way. But the messy background and the un-smooth lines don't give this one much credit. How average of you.

omg faces are impossible to do in watercolor, or maybe I'm just challenged. that's not fair, keep it up.
