She is the lady of the forest. I made this picture when I was at the army, for my army friend Oskari.

The background is particularly great... so peaceful. I love those colors, and the lighting. Beautifully done!

It is nice and calm, im impressed you drew all the trees so well.( i would get bored and draw about 3) even though its all pretty and calm the girl looks a bit sad.

:-) Janne Vuollet replies: "Actually, it's not the trees but the ground that is more fustrating to make. To me at least."

Haa! New update indeed! 2 Wonderful trees.. Me feels like running around the woods! *gets very childish* Hihi.. Too much energy for the day.. I think that must be because of my fairy wings.. I actually wear those at the moment! Hih.. *giggles and flies away*

:-) Janne Vuollet replies: "Happy happy halloween, halloween, halloween. Urgh! Olen ihan kipsissä! Kaikkialla on iloisia valkoisia läiskiä. Right now, I don't have too much energy. The gigglyfairy Tiina. Thats your halloween costume?"

Finally it's here (was 'finally' the other f- word?)! Haven't visited here for a while now, got tired of waiting for a new update after I sent you this pic (you lazy you, update, man!). Lighting is fine, the girl though doesn't seem to like it. Maybe she's more of a winter person (wish it was summer, not last summer though, maybe you know the reason why ;P ). Anyways, finally this pic is herre, and finally I've had the guts to hang it on my wall. The next step would be finding decent framing, maybe. Lead a healthy life and keep producing fine art, you know how to do that!

21 Janne Vuollet replies: "Yeah, took a while. And I think it takes a while till I get a new update 8/ The pics I'm doin don't fit here. Or then they are just plain too big. I'd need a camera.Hmm, at first I was planning to make the girl transculent. But then I decided that the light wouldn't seem so bright if done so. She is kind of a spirit girl, forest spirit. To me it feels like the summer is coming quite very fast, even though the winter ain't really here yet! Creepy... "

Hey that's nice huh! I don't know why you entitled that forest vision... maybe that little girl there is a seer? No i think not... but what does she doing there? is she lost? or is she a magical pixie or fairy or something? Well NICE WORK!!! But im collecting your wizard ziirriiisss!!! You've got only two! Ice and earth!! Put some lightning and fire next tym! he hehe

:-) Janne Vuollet replies: "She is the forest vision.yeah, I should make more of them. I had such an idea but I stopped doing them... dunno why. But yeah, I think that is what I'd like to do next 9 Thanks for reminding me."

it IS a very harmonic image... I like the simplicity of it while it is at the same time rather detailed. You've managed to capture the roundness of the treetrunks very well. Makes me miss forests... Perhaps that yellow there is a little unbalanced compared to the rest of the image, but it still doesn't ruin it. Good work.

21 Janne Vuollet replies: "Yeah, you are right. The yellow is quite odd looking. I wondered for a long time if I should put it there... More greyer yellow would have been better. But no can do. Thanks for the comment!"

Wow! It's so ethereal and calming. My favourite picture in your gallery, and one of my new favourites on Elfwood. 2
