Janne Vuollet replies: "Heh I thought that I'd make a "clothing nightmare" out of this guy. Something like Gogo from Final Fantasy VI. I planned that there would have been all kinds of trinkets hanging on it but I didn't quite succeed I should have first sketch it and then ink it... Well duh..."

it sorta looks like you put one of the symbols for one of the hindu gods on it. I love the swoord *I want a sword* i love the way you made it look all tectured looks like it is going to jump out at me

The funniest thing is I successed making it straight with ink. well, now I'm exhausted cause... well, too long story... anyways, now I gotta face the smile of Teal'c once again!"

This doesn't look "typical manga" to me at all--you have a very unique style. I am completely intrigued by the "liquid" sword....

Janne Vuollet replies: "Well, actually I don't really know what "typical manga" is, but anyways, this is manga. And I've gotten bored making it. This just happens to have more correct proportions than the usual manga I made. The liquid sword... Dunno why I made it like that. I can't really tell you anything about it. First I was gonna call it "the swan sword" but I thought that it doesn't work that well... Then I thought that it could be a "Jelly sword" but "liquid" sounded more better. So it became liquid I've been thinking of making a new pic with this sword... and maybe of this character too. Just don't have any good ideas yet."

Janne Vuollet replies: "Mmmh, you could see it that way too, one of those madmans who want's to destroy all life on earth and then a bunch of supernatural superheroes come and prevent it just a second before everything is lost. I kinda thought him to be a merchant selling a funny looking sword I have no school nya nya nyaaa! Maybe you should put a piece of tape on the monitor to cover the eyes of Brad so he doesn't look at you anymore? And maybe cover his mouth too if he starts to panic and shout at you. Ammm... yeah!"

Or better yet, I'll just change the entire desktop of the Brad computer when the teacher isn't looking so it has something that I like better on it!!!! And lol, this weird sword merchant you have here...HE CAN BE LIKE A DISNEY VILLIAN! I have a character who's like a disney villian. NYAHA!!!

I wonder how long it takes for him to get ready for battle. I mean all the gear, the cape, the head-whatever and all. I say it's a good hour or two to make him look right and then he dies by the first arrow. What a w.a.s.t.e. Anyway, to comment: You'd think a headgear like his would make anyone look a little queer, but he's pulled it off nicely. His clothes look a somewhat raggy, but maybe it's because he's been through an orchbattle just a few minutes ago and just stopped by for a quick pose before another orch slayed. I like the background color. That ivory white. Doesn't look scanned, but I bet it has been. The pants have an Adidas look to them which is nice and the cape is coloured nicely as well. But why does the blade look a little bent? Cause it's liquid? I bet if he lets go of that blade, it goes "GAWONG-ONG-ONG-ONG-NG-N-G-G..". That's how it seems to be. A nice picture in all.

Well, Jesus, did a dog teach you to draw? I know your (late) dog was a muse (and amuse) to you, but a teacher? I doubt to think so.

Janne Vuollet replies: "yeah. The liquid sword has a mind of it's own. It, flows like the water. It, has watched Bruce Lee documents way too often. It, hacks and slashes "orchs" like nothing. Oh well. If you didn't yet know, this was just a GOT TO DRAW state of mind pic so I didn't really care if he has to spend two hours on putting the clothes and make up on. And yeah, he is one of those goddamn superheroes who always have to pose after every kill. Tell ya what, that will probably be the cause of his death, when he is too old and can't the pose quickly enough."
