"The bridge is down" by Janne Vuollet

YOu get such a soft... something with your colouring. really.. soft y'know?? Hmm yes I'm very clear and stuff. I've been cooking yesterday for 4 hours. I had diner at 11 o'clock (evening) and now the whole house smells like oil and stuff. *G* but it was good. And I got 2 Euro for it (yes, my parents pay me to cook diner.. weirdos hae?)

Beautiful clouds... ^_^ *sits down comfortably, takes some icecream and enjoys the sunset*

Oddly enough for some unknown reason this seems to be my favorite of the bunch of them - maybe just how i associate this in my mind - i think if and when he finds his way accross he'll find that what he was looking for and expecting is ancient history - hope he doesn't do too much damage before he realizes this - then again he may find within a mirror - and step through it ... ~

What can I say??? Where can i start??? I love everything about this picture ,I love the mood ,I love the moon,I love the colours, I love the sunset and i love the detail........and hey don't put yourself down about the orange and the blue turning into green cus I think thats one of the coolest parts of the sunset(!)
keep up the good work...

Janne Vuollet replies: "Thanks. Yeah, I've been watching the sky a few times concentrating on that green thing... and there really is a bit green there. But there seems to be a white area between the different colors. Not like totally white but lighter. I'm struggling wiht a sunset again with my new pic... though it's a little bit different kind of a sunset. But the color change is the tricky part again..."

I like the sunset, especially the yellow on the pink clouds. And the shadows in the foreground look very good. All look good.

What possesed you to start drawing???!!!, give up now and stop embarrasing yourself.

Oh God. Oh my God. The bridge is down. There's no way out. It's the devil's way now. Don't you think this is a bit like the 'Evil dead' movie. The scene where Ash tries to escape, but that demon from Karthago (wazever!) has taken the bridge down. Poor Ash. In the backround that dojo(?) symbolises that cabin in the woods, right? The sword on his hand is the chainsaw, am I correct? The sun is about to set just like in the movie and we all know what happens once the sun is down. Hell, I bet this is the oriental version of that Raimi's flick.
The title however reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger hanging from a helicopter trying to shout his guts out to Jamie Lee Curtis that the bridge ahead was blown with a few well-aimed missiles. Remember that scene? "The bridz iz oot! The bridz iz oot! I'll bee baak, ROON TOO THE CHOPPAH! The predatooz aa kumin!"

Sad..

Janne Vuollet replies: "Tis iz a bight böy älört, tis iz not e thuill!yeah, ya got it man, it's the oriental version of the evil dead. Only that the cabin was left to the wrong side of the cliff... it's so hard to explain things for japanese people when they can't understand finnish... but ya gotta go with what ya get... So whats with you and this Swarchenegger stuff now?"

Arnold stuff? What do you mean, Jenny.. I mean Janne?
Anyway, so that building's on the opposite side? I got it all wrong. But only because you gave the wrong impression. Perhaps that Evil dead thing got me thinking it all backwards and wrong.. wards. Now it doesn't look so pretty anymore. Shame.

I don't get it. the guy's wearin a skirt, and yet you still enjoy the essence of his crack....
