| 20 Aug 2006 | Patrick B. Boyle | Loading...this is a very well done drawing.Nice shading, the face and upperbody are very well done and the anatomy is good right up(or down to) her feet and then the feet go sideways. Not trying to "nit-pick" but her feet are pointed at an unnatural angle.Other than that this picture rocks, very well done Elizabeth J. Schlosbon replies: "Hehehe, I knew someone would eventually point it out. I knew as soon as i finished it that her one foot was off...but i got lazy and didn't feel up to changing it. hahaha. But because it does continue to haunt me I plan on changing it eventually. " | |
| 24 Aug 2006 | Aaron Michael Secrist | Loading...Hey, THis is really good, but her face looks distorted like the paper is bent or wa when it was scanned. But really good. Elizabeth J. Schlosbon replies: "Uhmmm..It looks fine to me. She's supposed to have a look on her face. Which to me it looks like unhappy/annoyed. I mean your supposed to get the feeling you kinda ran into her...Which isn't good. But considering she's supposed to be human and humans don't have perfect faces (especially when they are making 'a face'). I say it's perfect.(even though i'm not perfect) Thanks for the picture comment." | |
| 5 Sep 2006 | Sophie Hollmann | Loading...Yeah, this is cool! Contemteously, thats what she looks like. Despite the feet (which are indeed quite tricky to draw from this perspective) a great picture, because it depicts a special character with a special and interesting character - you understand...? Rock on^^ | |
| 14 Nov 2006 | Toxof toxof@ecr...net> | Loading...Great concept. I love the idea of a look, or 'the look', but I agree. The face appears to be lopsided. I think her left eye is a little high, this may or may not be intentional. I like the idea of an alien(different) planet and I love the way you made her familiar to us by comparing her to a black widow. You are very good, keep it up Elizabeth J. Schlosbon replies: "I know why it appears lopsided. Her one pupil is bigger than the other because it smeared and the jaw on her one side is more defined because of the shading. Her smile is SUPPOSED to be lopsided though..Think half-smirk. Also her eyebrows are supposed to be positioned differently..like almost a raised eyebrow. Remember, though, that realisically peoples faces aren't always symmetrical. Thank you so much for the picture comment!" | |
