SciFi and Fantasy Art Love In The Wind by Laura Beth Katt

Okay. Don't kill me Alex!! Here is such a nice picture of Violet and her love Elghrinn. Ah, tru love, isn't it beautiful? Of course this is one of the first times I have ever drawn Elghrinn and although I just love the pose between him and violet...he seems to have stumpy fingerd. BUT I'LL FIX THAT! I promise! Just don't kill me, Alex. Anywho, pretty pretty. I did it in pencil and I don't know why I did it other than at the time I was thinking how beautiful love is. I've decided I have done enough Inked and Colored pictures for awhile, which explains the pencil.

2 May 2002	Anonymous	Loading... From afar it captures the eye. But when i zoomed in for a better look, i was disappointed. I found they looked as though they were two vampires in love, so pale, thin, short fragile creatures. Her fingers are too small nd frail and her forehead is too large...sorry for all the criticism. Laura Beth Katt replies: "I am sorry to have disappointed ye of little faith. Everyone does have their own styles though, and I am sure you aren't one to critisize anime for having too large of eyes. But to each their own, I suppose."

I should hope artists could learn as you have to reach beyond measures and proportions to express themselves as you have. Laura Beth Katt replies: "Many do. But I suppose, just sometimes, the feeling washes over you and you can't help but hit the nail perfectly on the head. Thank you."

Although I was feeling a little alone at the time and more or less just wished to illustrate a dream of my heart, nothing more, I'm glad it hits the spot."
