This is actually of a woman named Selequies. She started as a gift for my boyfriend, him always wanting me to work in color. so I grabbed up my prisma colors and got to work. Though I had a sunset in the back ground along with waves crashing up about her, I hated them, so we whited them out. heh. Technology is wonderful at times.

The swirlies of hair...magnificent! I would have made the tendrils of hair thinner, and look what I would have missed! A soothing, put-a-smile-on-your-face kinda pic. LOVE it!

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "Thank you. Perhaps when I rework the picture I might just put thin strans of hair on her just to see what would happen."

Great coloring!! I like how you can combine blue and green. How about a blue background, so it will give some feeling for the sea?

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "My thoughts exactly. Thank you! I really was trying to go for a watery feel for the woman."

Her hair is seemingly being lifted by either water and or air..I would elaborate on this and give it a background of water or a night sky would go with the celestial feel of the hair magic she has going on....excellente'

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "And thank you very much for you words. I acree. An ocean scene with waves forming into her tendrils would be charming."

I would love to see some yellow-aqua coming from above and also a slight nose-job..that is all the critisisim I can muster about this abso-freakin-lutly georgeous drawing...."ahhhhhh " is all I can say...I am not worthy.

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "A nose job. *grins* I always thought the same thing. And I was working on a sunset for a back ground over the ocean, but it never worked out."

This is simply incredible! the coloring is so soft. Her hair and the folds in her clothing are amazing. You should try adding a background to this!

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "*grins* It seems everyone agrees with you on that one. And don't worry, a background she will have as I pilfer about in making one. Thank you for your compliments!"

this is so beautiful! the color is amazing and the curve of her hair is wonderful too

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "Prisma colors sure can do miraculous things, can't they? *grins*"

the color on this is so beautiful!!! I love the way she flows.

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "Thank you very much! I am hoping the back ground, when I make it, will flow just as smoothly."

I love her hair. The way it blows in the wind is beautiful.

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "I am hoping to create another picture much like it shortly. I hope I can still get the technique donw. -_0"

I love the hair and the dress at the top with her hand - that was what i saw first and it just struck me that it was a great pic. The only crit i have - right now that i can see - is that the lower part of her face - nose, jaw and chin - should be slightly put forward.Apart from that - the whole picture is perfect - and i wouldnt change a thing for a dime. Even if i used that currency and it was mine to change and u would give me the money . . .

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "At some point, I'm more than certain I will rework it and finally give it a back ground. But for now, with how long ago I did it and the skills I had then, I'm still proud of it."

Oh, her dress is beautiful! Her eyes are great. I adore how her hair curls like that. I cannot make hair look like that! I try and try and try (etc. etc. etc.) but I just can’t get it right. I love her expression. She looks sad but she’s handling it and not showing that she’s sad. I love this. It’s really great, and the only thing I have to say is making a background would add a lot to this.
